GODWINS School, Guwahati is a Secondary school affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. The school is coeducational and located at Sarusajai near the National Games Main Stadium ,Guwahati-40 on the National Highway.

GODWINS School,Guwahati formerly known as GODWINS English School saw the light of day on 18th January,1996 at the initiative of Mrs.Chandrajini Singha and Mr.Thoiren Singha at Christian Basti in the heart of Guwahati city. The school has been running successfully while meeting the educational needs of people connected to it since its inception.

The management of the school sensed the need of a bigger school campus and therefore developed a new physical structure of the school in the same name at Gorolia, Sarusajai,NH-37,Ghy-40. The school was shifted to its new campus in the year 2007.The new campus of the school was inaugurated on 19th January 2007. The new school building at Sarusajai stands on a bigger plot of land surrounded by large expanses of greenery and beautiful natural landscape.

It is our belief that learning is unending. It is a perpetual growth and development of critical reasoning and a sense of unspeakable responsibility towards the society. The school motto explains this statement — “Service Is Strength”.

We aspire to build a happy and secure framework within which all can learn and work together in an atmosphere of mutual respect, love and understanding; and aim for the best standard of teaching and learning experiences. We see to it that hard work and happiness is encouraged so that students enjoy coming to school. We believe that this would develop in them a respect for themselves and others along with developing a love of learning.
